Default clutch problem (didn't find anything in search)

Hey guys let me start from the begining.....I put a aluminum flywheel and act clutch on my car about a year ago, about 3 months after installing it the flywheel bolts started backing out so i bought new bolts and put threadlock on them and torqed them 10lbs over spec. last week they started backing out again!!! so i said the hell with the aluminum flywheel and had my stock flywheel machined, i but it on and got the car back together and now my clutch won't disengage so it won't let me change gears and if i crank it in 1st gear i have to hold the break or it tries to move..so i went and bought a new master and slave cylinder, bled everyting properly and even shimed the slave cylinder about 1/2 inch and it still isn't working. any suggestions?????? Please help i am very angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey man, have you ever had the car get stuck in gear while the car was running?? If so, when it happened....did the car run like it had an automatic tranny?? By that, I mean, even though the clutch is pushed it...the car will still move forward...and the car will not stall if you push the brake in.

Ok i think it is the wrong throw-out bearing, or clutch assembly

Check the pressure plate, when removed from the ride. Do you have bent fingers on the plate?

I had the SAME EXACT issue with my car. I had my OEM clutch at 156K miles. The guy who did my clutch said that my tranny was bad. He said that my 2nd gear was broken, my synchro was bad, and that the spring from the clutch disk felt out.

I am in a process of sueing him because he never gave back my tranny.

93NXLUDE....PLEASE let me know if you find out the issue that is causing this. It will help me out GREATLY!!

I think mine was due to a bad clutch set.

Good luck.
