Default fluttering noise WTF?

ok.

im hoping to be able to get a sound clip for you guys on this one.

i start the car, everything ok.

i let it warm up.. rev it a few times, everything is fine.

i get going... seems to be ok.. then if i give it a little more throttle, regardless of what gear im in i get this fluttering noise, it sounds almost ping -ish, but im not convinced its ping because it only does it when im going.

now if i rev it, it'll flutter...

after a few revs with clutch in, it'll stop completely and not come back at all until its been sitting for a few hours and cools down.

its only been just doing this recently, and i have no idea why.

please help.

MY SETUP

93 civic hatch
gsr motor
greddy turbo 18g 5.5 psi
jrsc fmu (5:1) / missing link
stock injectors i think (was told 440cc) (dont ask)

let me know if you need more info.. im a trial user and this is my 4th post (I get 1 more within 24 hours )

Last post for the day . Can't wait for this trial user to expire.. anyway.

Yes, I do have a BOV, its a Greddy Type-S BOV.

I guess it could be.. im not really sure, its hard to hear exactly where its coming from with the exhaust and all...

it would do that only when it first gets going??? Because it almost sounds like ping. But not quite...

Hopefully thats it..

open to any suggestions..

it didnt always do this is why im wondering.. granted, i've only owned the car for about a month now.. and i just started noticing this about a week and a half ago.

this is my first turbo car, and my daily driver. i've learned a heck of lot from this forum and others like it though!!

honda-tech.com by far is the best, hands down! (except this trial user thing)

My friend was running a T25 setup and his wastegate flapper used to flutter like hell. My bet is on the wastegate flapper. Yours is internally wastegated, correct?

correct! internal wastegate.. its all stock...

it just seems to only do it sometimes when i first get going.. and then it goes away after a little bit of revving and driving..

i thought it might have been that.. im working on getting a sound clip.. probably by thursday.
