yes it is very possible

i just got my system done yesterday...front coponent, back 6x9, 5ch amp and sub

keeping stock deck(cuz of in-dash 6CD changer but soon to go away)

you just have to get RCA converter for stock deck to RCA out to your amp.

of course, install is pain in the *** if you do it by your self

as far as the sound goes... stock lacks little bit on watts compare to aftermarket

and sounds little dull... but as for now sound decent for me.

are you talking aobut those things you can buy at like walmart, or canadian tire, that go into the back of the factory deck?

so it just has the rca plugs on it, but its a factory harness?

Its called a line out converter and you can get them at walmart, or any electronics store. If you want to keep your stock deck but want good quality music then I recommend getting an equalizer. You dont need an aftermarket deck to have a high quality sound system.
