I did an ls-vtec swap, the engine runs great but the vtec is not engaging. I tested the pressure switch and the vtec solenoid that was ok. When i put 12v to solenoid it engaged and vtec work, I am running a pr3 ecu and i get a vss code could that be what's not engaging vtec. I'm running it in a 89 crx with a cable operated speedo. please respond thankyou. (what else can i do to get it working)

 

If you are getting a VSS code your Vtec will not engage.
