99 si koni adjustables (searched)
I have a question about the 99 si Koni adjustables, I already searched but found no results.
Here It Goes: Do the Koni adjustables for the 99 si use the same upper strut mount bushings as stock?
They are the bushings with the metal sleeve that connect to eachother on both sides of the mount.
Thank you for your time.

You will have to use the thinner sleeve supplied by KONI due to a larger diametre piston rod. In other words, your stock one will not work.
Hope that answers the question.

Yes you answered my question, but it gives me a new dilemma.
I bought the koni's used and was not given the bushings, So is there any place I can get these. I checked Koni's website but it wasn't much of a help.

You can reuse your O.E. bushings and uppermounts with the Koni Yellow shocks.
The only thing that you have to use in conjunction with the Koni Yellow shocks are the supplied washers and the wider I.D. metal sleeves that goes into the bushings, that Koni supplied with their shocks.
The fitment of the metal Koni sleeves into the O.E. uppermount bushings may be a tight squeeze but it can be done, and no modifying is required to make them fit.
Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone for your replies, and the help. But, here goes another question from my never ending supply:
I was not supplied the bushings or the metal sleeves, do you think I could make the sleeves then get my oem bushings to work? or do you think koni will sell me them?

When i got my konis, i didn't get any bushings either. Which bushings are you referring to?
Bumpstops or uppermount bushings... b/c i got neither from Koni.
All you need to do is trim the stock bumpstops and transfer them from your stock shocks to your Konis. And to reuse your stock uppermount bushings.
So if you have all 8 uppermount bushings, and all 4 bumpstops, you're good to go. If you don't have them, you can do 2 things.
1. Go to the Honda parts department, or find an on-line retailer to buy some. Or...
2. Call Ground-Control ( http://www.ground-control.com ) and order a set of uppermounts from them. It increases shock travel, comes with uppermount bushings and bumpstops. Do a search for more info on these.
About the sleeves, you can drill/bore out your stock ones to get the I.D. of them wider so they will fit around the thicker shock piston shaft on the Koni shocks, or you can just call Koni, and they will send you a set.
