What to do?????
What should i do, get a whole new bottom end(rods, high compression pistons, and darton sleeves), or a new valvetrain? Which would i see better numbers out of? Im thinking of doing a port n polished job and 5 angle valve job along with whatever i do but im not sure what would be the best way to go. and if i go valvetrain, i was thinking skunk2 but not sure. what do you guys think??
Why not Benson sleeves, they're cheaper and a lot of people like them better. Then you can get some fairly inexpensive rods, like Probe, and maybe some CTR pistons and still have enough left over to do the valvetrain. It all depends upon what goals you have, and without proper planning and tuning, you won't see good gains out of either. What do you plan on doing with the car when you get the engine built? Will it be driven daily? Are you looking to retain any of the stock levels of comfort? How much money do you plan to spend? These are all questions that need to be answered.
