Default Sunroof

So anyone ever looked into installing a sunroof/moonroof? Is it possible? what are the prices like? Also, I find the vertical door conversions kinda cool, but unfortunately I have a sedan and those that conversion would look straight up silly.

Both of these conversions are ridiculously expensive, permanent, and take way too much time and effort. Don't try it.

The chances are, if the car doesn't have it when it roll out the factory, it's not worth it to get it.

if you dying for a sunroof, just sell your current car and get one with it, not to sounds harsh but the efforts doesn't worth the cost

Exactly...usually an "aftermarket" sunroof is either shitty or uber expensive. I got quoted once for like 2-3K for a 4000 dollar car. I say shitty because if you compare it to the factory one the seals usually leak or doesn't fit just right. My friend had a pop-top sunroof that leaked and they had to relocate the dome light. My friend knows a dealer of a sunroof maker and as a "demo" his still cost about a grand.

Edit: One friend had a V-top that was
the other friend had a sliding roof and it was

Nope it's not automatic. You have to hold down the button for about 5 seconds for it to open.

Why would you want to? It's really not that big of a deal to hold it down for 5 seconds. Trying to make it automatic is pointless man! Spend money on some more important things.

Hey, at least our driver side window is automatic.

Push the button all the way down, and let it go. It will continue to go down.

Go brag about that to him.

that solara probably has auto-up too

I would say for the money going into making it an auto switch is money not needed to be spent
