Default Header and exhaust suggestions

Hi all. I'm new to modifying my Accord so my questions might seem basic to most of you. I have a 98 Accord EX 4cyl VTEC 4dr 5spd. My catalytic converter needs to be replaced and the local Honda garage's estimate is $1100, $980 for the cat conv alone! Rather than paying them to do it, I figure I can install headers, exhaust system, and a new catalytic converter myself for basically the same price. I've read other posts and it sounds like the Apexi WS exhaust has been suggested many times, especially if I want to keep it quiet. Could someone give me suggestions about headers? I've seen DC Sports ceramic headers for $350-400, any good or would you suggest something different? I'm also interested in knowing the HP and MPG gains. I'm assuming I will need a different catalytic converter since I'm not using the stock manifold and exhaust, suggestions? Thanks.

get a DC Sports 4-2-1 ur choice of either ss or ceramic. and as far as exhaust goes theres alot for 6th gen accords. popular choices are ususally greddy evo, sp, apexi ws, and dc sports on a count of there quietness.
