Default f23a1 people please read.

How well did you engine respond to the usual I/H/E combo? Was the HP gain with the money? Thanks, and yes I searched and read all of the 37 post on the f23a1....

15 HP isn't a bad increase...considering that the f23 only has 150 to start off with.

Yeah but for the same 1000 bucks I would rather go with a nice nitrous setup.

difference yes, for me with only a K&N filter and E, it was noticable
worth the money depends on what you want. If you are happy with only about ~170 to the wheel max with only the I/H/E combo, then go for it, otherwise save the money for another option you want, Nos, Boost, Swap, etc...

it was only an estimate with no personal results, and a high one at that.

if he boosted it or got nitrous, he could get more horse out of the engine if he had an i/h/e. Some of it depends on if your exhaust would be causing any back pressure when you began to rev really quickly, but still, the i/h/e combo helps w/ whatever setup you decide to do, just prioritize.

my opinion, if you go boost, then you can re-use the intake and filter and exhaust if it's large enough to begin with, but the h is no good, and a good waste of $$$

I used to have I/H/E on my F23a1, and have since boosted it. If i had it to do all over again, I would have gone right to boost. Yes I/H/E adds a LITTLE power, but a drag turbo kit adds a LOT. IMO, get a CAI, a muffler, and save the rest of your money (for turbo. LOL). That way you will sound fast (loved my AEM CAI sound) and add a few ponies without spending a bunch of money.
