Default GM Synchromesh = Pennzoil Synchromesh???

is GM and Pennzoil the same thing? just wanted to know since there's like a 9 dollar difference and Pennzoil being cheaper from autozone rather then GM coming from the dealer. I've searched with "transmission fluid and transmission oil" as topics. Hope someone with personal experience can tell me if its the same stuff. Thanks.
