Default Got rid of speed bleeders; bleeding with the stock bleed screws

Just wanted to make sure I was doing this right:

1.) Friends pumps pedal several times (5-10).
2.) I open the bleed screw and friend pushes pedal down (making sure not to touch the floor).
3.) Friend holds pedal
4.) I close bleed screw
5.) Friends lets go of pedal
6.) Repeat for each caliper (starting from drivers side front, then to passengerside front, then to passenger side rear, then to drivers side rear).

Is this correct? Thanks! :-)

The 94-97 integra manual says that. I believe the cibac manuals are like that too.

The 98-01 integra manual says DF, PF, PR, DR or FL, FR, RR, RL.

Yeah. rodney almost kicked my butt when I said I bled the rears first. I started doing the FL, FR, RR and RL method after I put on my new calipers.

Don't you just want to work from longest to shortest in terms of line length to the caliper?

The lines cross with the ABS in the R/Teg whatever.

We follow what the Helm's dictates.

Call me a Helm's slave, I could give a hoot, as long as my car stops when I need it to.

You mean master cylinder, right?

And I thought so too but if rodney says otherwise and the Helms confirms it, I'm going to do it the "right way".

Rodney, Rodney, Rodney.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.

Any coincidence is purely coincidental.

Why not to the floor? I've always done it that way.

Get a 2x4 wood block and place it under the brake pedal. Then, you never have to worry about the pedal going down to the floor.

Hmm.. Good to know. Thanks. I'll do the wood trick from now on.
I just hope I haven't f'd up my MC yet.

BTW, Chris- Where've you been? You still in town? I haven't seen you at an event in ages.

That sux. Bad MC sucks big donkey nuts. Change it out fast... you don't want it to go out on you on a hot summer day. It's not fun trying to stop the car w/ emergency/parking brakes. Ask me how I know.

1. Put tube connected to bleed screw in a pop bottle with some brake fluid in the bottom, so the end of the tube is covered in fluid.
2. open screw and pump pedal to hearts content.
3. close screw.
