ok, I just talked to Craig. Looks like I'll be volunteering.

This is the final CART event of the season at CA Speedway.
Last years volunteers got to have free lunch w/ the drivers and just hang out w/ the various television crews

If you volunteer, you get to autox for free at 2, yes TWO events!

Dont forget...it's Honda's last event in CART. They might pull the plug for next season.

oh god, i hope not elevators, thats the most boring thing in the world. i was there for a cart race a few years back and i remember going up and down that elevator with ppl helping. you just stand there and do nothing. worst of all, you're right behind the grandstands so you get to hear the cars zoom by but you can't actually see them.

im gonna call up craig tomorrow and try to get a position. maybe we can all have a caravan out there? if you guys are doing both days are you gonna get a motel or what?

we could either get a room at a motel there, its pretty barron out there, i dunno what we'd do for that whole night, a few guys in a hotel room with nothing to do doesn't sound to appealing to me haha.

or we could all stay at my grandma's in glendora, but i think she'd freak and have a heart attack, so thats out of the question. haha, lets see how many ppl we have going down there and maybe we can all chip in to get a room or two.

 

Whatever you guys do, do not stay in Fontana overnight. They have rough kids in lowrider bikes who vandalizes random cars. That's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea.

San Bernardino = 1 hour away from the mountain resorts and only a 15 min drive to the Speedway. I wonder if they'll let me in on my supersonic blue Dyno gt bmx

my brother and I just signed up with Craig. Anyhow, since it is not to far from the Ontario mill you guy can bunk there but the police will harass you due to the nearby illegal track. Better yet, you guy can get a room in Diamond Bar, safe place for your car, and go eat at the Banana Bay, new exotic Thai food. Since my friend own that place, we get discount. At night time, you guy can go to Puente Hill mall or speedzone. For those who does not mind getting ticket, you can visit a local hang out at the famous Ontario race track..
