Pads for an ITR?

Really depends it you're doing lapping days or daily commutes.
And even then it's a matter of personal preference.

that rotor is not gonna last long... you will put it into garbage around 20000-30000 km if it is for the front

Hawk HPS for the street or Hawk Blues for the track. Both are available through King Motorsports-www.kingmotorsports.com

Cobalt Gt-Sport's all around for street. Once the GT-Plus's are out, they will probably be a little more practical.

As for the track...I've used stock, hawk blues, and I am currently on Cobalt VR pads for the front and GT-Sport for the rear...let me tell you, AWESOME! Superior to the Hawks for sure. Although they are definately not a street pad whatsoever.

I hate to make this into a rotor thread again, but you should read this thread:

Just making sure you know what you bought before you install it.

Which is why I'd suggest talking to Andy at Cobalt for maybe some GT sports. His link is in my Sig.

I second 92TypeR's comment on the Cobalt VR's. I kept having fade problems, but not anymore!! If you're worried about sliding in the cold, they are no worse than stock when cold, but after even 10 minutes of driving, holly crap! So nice on the track! One of the single biggest improvements my car has ever made. But they dust like crazy, so for the street thats only downside that I see

Porterfield R4 for the track, Raybestos dust-free for the street, Porterfield R4S for both.

If you care about your paint, don't run Porterfield R4 pads. Fortunately I ran them down to the backing plates and I no longer care about my paint. They kicked *** on the street and track.

Seriously, on the street, the OEM pads are great, Raybestos dust-free don't grab as well but they are indeed dust free.

I concur with your advice except that I don't find there's any harm in keeping Cobalt VR on the car on the street. It's an expensive thing to do, but VR aren't going to wear the rotors so quickly that it's an especially dumb thing to do driving to and from the track on them, or even leaving them on if your ITR is a mostly recreational vehicle...IMHO, of course.

As for the rotors, I would also agree that you shouldn't spend a lot of money on exotic rotors. You really aren't going to get better performance, and you might even get worse performance.

It doesn't make sense with modern brake pads to reduce the braking surface by drilling holes or making slots.

AutoZone 'description'

Would also concur w/this advice.

If you don't want the slightly extra weight of the Legend rotors, the AutoZone regular ITR rotors are also only $25, and they are guaranteed for a year.

Even the AutoZone here in Culpeper VA stocks both the Legen and ITR rotors.

For daily commute, nothing beats OEM. Plus it's less than $100 for all around.

It's true, of course. OEM's great on a daily commuter ITR.
