My built block has a 87.85mm bore. now what do you guys recommend for the bore on the headgasket?

 

stock will work fine. I run a unmodified stock on my 88mm bore. GE has oversized ones if you want.

 

so should I get a 88mm bore heasgasket?

 

i belive stock honda head gaskets are all 1mm larger than the stock bore. so ours stock is an 87mmbore and the head gaske is a 88mm,

similarly in my project for the f22 vtec i am using a f23 head gasket, the f23 has a 86mm bore , so it is a 87m head gasket, it matches up exactly to the prelude bore when put on the block.

just like anthony said you should be fine with stock,

 

I cannot remember the bore of the stock hg, but I lined it up with my 88m bore cylinders and it fit fine with no problems.
