Default Mounted Width of S04s vs. S03s

Thanks to Bfittz for passing the S04 info on to me today.
Both are mounted on 6" rims. My S03s were mounted on Millenia rims, I am not sure what the S04s were mounted on. I would assume either ITR or Millenia rims, but it should not make a difference.

Measurements were taken by stacking 2 mounted tires on top of one another and dropping a tape to the floor.

205/50-15:
S03 - 16 3/4"
S04 - 17 1/6"

225/45-15
S03 - 17 7/8"
S04 - 18 5/16"

Apparantly the S04s mounted up and looked fine on his ITR. I'll be interested to see how they work on course. I already had some rubbing with the S03s so its likely to be a little worse with the 4s.

the R3S04's are approx 1/2 in wider. They still rub on the rear lower control arms, even with a 5mm spacer......nothing to be concerned about....

If you guys can get those 225 S04's to work, DS will be on fire this year.

5mm spacer with what offset wheel? The 38mm offset Koseis?

We'll see how they work at the ProSolo in Topeka in a few weeks.

I have the staggered A3S04's. Grainger plans to run V710s. Kevin Youngers will have his 330Ci, and I've also heard that GH Sharp will be there in a 330Ci. Anyone else running in DS?

I love them...

Although it's been a few months (early november) since I ran on S03s, the S04's I used in Atlanta and Ft. Myers were unbelieveable. Wear looks ok for the amount of runs we did and the weather...

they "feel" better than the S03s, but I seem to be one of the few who feel that way from what I've read. Then again, i like the "feel" of victoracers.
