Hey EG crowd,

We're using a BKNW OEM carbon hood on one of our project vehicles. Just got it in last week. Great looking hood. It fit will and the finish was excellent.

Now on to the technical - The stock hood weighed in at 31.5lbs and the BKNW hood was a scant 18lbs. Very very good weight savings.

I will post some information about the project car in the next couple of weeks. Basically a full Type R conversion, built motor, plenty of Mugen stuff (of course).

We will have it at the ITR Expo as well as Hot Import Nights in Chicago. It's going to be a really cool car.

ah so you must be one of the few exceptions to the no NON ITR cars allowed.... just from what i read in the ITR forum that only a very few non ITR cars will be allowed on the track with the all mighty type r lol. congrats on your car man

Actually I paid full pop! $325 per hood.

 

I have one of their hoods on my car too, the quality is great as long as you dont want to paint it a different color. Otherwise you might notice some waves Then again my hood is 3 years old...

 

I have purchased 3 hoods and a duckbill from Andy and I will vouch for the quality and fitment of their parts.

Andy also helped me out when I had a few problems with one of the products.

That was one of our first JDM Integra hoods. It came out pretty good. Crescent was happy with it. But I am sad that he is selling that beautiful car. Our new JDM Integra hoods are awesome especially the vented stlyle. Thanks for the post Emerika. Kings Motorsports paid full price just like everyone else.
