Default Tien SS or FLEX, upper mounts, drag q's

I'm torn between tien ss or flex. Either way im going to get more streetable springs from tein, softer springs, I will rock the stock stiffies when im at the track. Tien does make them, but where do you buy them, anyone else every done this. My fear is that even with soft spring rates ill still have a bouncy ride. With flex do you still need camber kit, what about SS with upper pillow ball mounts do you need a camber kit for that. Where can i get the upper mounts. Im mainly a drager but i like to handle too, does tein suck for dragin.

teins designs there spring rates according to the shock valving....

SS are 8k front and 6k rear rates

Flex is like 9k from and 6k rear for EG's.....

why would u want a softer spring??? I have SS and they are great for daily driving....****.......

for drag I wouldn't go TEIN...get GC's with a crazy rate.........12k front and 10k rear.....haha

Springs don't make your ride bouncy, shocks are want control the bounce.

id get the flex, by the time you buy the pillowball mounts for the SS its the same price as the flex and the flex come with pillowball mounts

To answer your question about the camber kits... YES you still need camber kits. Civic suspension is not the style that is camber adjustable at the upper mount. I think ours is called McPherson or something like that, but I know it is the same as the 2g DSMs and they require seperate kits.

I run the Type Flex on my 97 Hatch. For camber: Skunk 2 Front, SPC Rear, and SRR LCAs

well if the upper mounts dont effect cmaber whats the piont, and whats the piont of using softer spring rates, i under stand why to use stiffer in the front or stiffer in the rear, but overall
