the skunk2 is a piece of crap, you can't beat the type r for quality

type r also looks a lot better, has little bit more shine, and it is an OEM part!!!

I am pretty sure the performance is just about the same

what do you have to prove that the skunk2 is a POC.

i have one and the quality seems to be of the uptmost.

and this guy didn't ask about looks he WANTED PERFORMANCE.

i don't know which is better but i have heard of some dyno comparission of these two mani's. just don't know were maybe some one will post them up

If you have a GSR head the Type-R manifold won't work because the main bypass hose on the manifold is in a lower position if I remeber right. So you basically have to run the Skunk manifold... Hope this helps

I like my skunk2 IM. Pretty much based off the ITR one. And unlike the ITR manifold, the skunk2 fits with no mods on a GSR head.
