Default DIY WB builders! Do you need the calibration resistor or is it just for testing?

I have the whole thing built but I'm not sure about the calibration resistor. I can't find any reference to it except in the 'checkout' page where you are supposed to jump it and check some voltage. What is it used for and how do you choose the right value?

What WB version do you have? The 2.0 version uses an electronic calibration. You may also want to search over in the Yahoo forums: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/oz-diy-wb/

Hope this helps.
