Default good place to get a cam for F22?

im asking this for my boss. He has a 93 accord AT and has I/H/E, getting an underdrive pulley soon and is thinking about turboing it. Does anyone know where he can get a good cam (not too expensive though)? I found a site with a stage II cam for arounf $100. I cant seem to find it again, it seems kinda low for a cam but i THINK that's the price i saw. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunatly no one makes off the shelf cams for the F22a engines. A custom billet cam will cost about $800. I had delta camshaft regrind a spare F22a6 cam for me. Specs are .425" lift in/ex. 272 degrees of advertised duration. They also have a less aggressive regrind called the 262. The 272 cam i got is not a smooth cam. It has a lot of lope at idle, and makes the car a lot louder. A lot more bass comes off the exhaust. From idle to 2500 i lost power, from 2500 to 4500 rpm i probably gained from 5-10HP, and from 4500rpm to 7000rpm i probably gained as much as 15+hp. These are just my guesstimates. However i dont recommend this cam to a bolt on car. Get the smaller cam. You need a lot of mods and headwork to take advantage of this cam profile. Oh, and the cam cost less than $90 to get done. Awesome price for quality work.

I have basically the same thing, and have searched and found quite a lot of info on Delta regrinds. they are coated, and people say they have a lot of performance gain. They recommend the 272.Here is some info, but just go through some other honda sites looking at Google, and you will find that they talk well about them. I have plans on sending mine soon. I want to find an extra cam, so I won't be out of driving time though. They are very cheap comparably though. Good luck

They don't have apps & specs online, you have to call. Good people to talk to though, very helpful...

The 260 grind is approx $50 260 deg duration .400" lift
The 272 grind is approx $65 272 deg duration .425" lift
