Default Is Pillowball worth it?

Are pillowball upper mounts (TEIN) worth the money? Does anybody have experience before and after? I have been thinking about getting teins. Anyone have flex or HA? What is the difference (Ihave seen both listed at about the same price)?

I have the TEIN HA's with upper pillow-ball mounts. Not only did I notice that my wallet was significantly lighter... I did notice that my suspension felt stiffer and more responsive.

if you look at it the right way thats two good things...

lighter wallet = faster speeds cause of weight savings when its in your car
stiffer suspension = i dont need to explain

Where did you get your HA's. How are they different from flex?

Thanks.

they come from the mounts, as it's basically metal to metal contact with pillowballs. means there's less give in the suspension but you also have to live with some discomfort (noises, more rigid, etc)

the diff between the HA and the FLEX are: different spring rates, FLEX are teflon coated to resist chipping and rust, FLEX is designed to make ride height independent from suspension travel, and the HA is discontinued. there are more differences i'm sure but i think those are the major ones.

With the double wishbone suspension that comes on the majoirity of the Hondas the pillowballs are not weight bearing what-so-ever. I have the pillowballs and wish that I didn't since they'll really will do nothing w/o a full metal spherical bearing across the board and stiffen up the entire suspension.
