Just painted my Spoom Mirrors
Bought the paint from Paintscratch.com, the match is near perfect, I was planning on painting my moldings to, but I want that to be a perfect match, the paint texture is kinda rough, I don't know if I didn't spray enough clearcoat (used one bottle for both mirrors) or I need to use a rubbing compound, Experts help me out?!? Overall I'm happy with it, and as soon as I get it shiny and smooth I'll be satisfied.
Updated pic's at the bottom.

looks pretty good. I just ordered some paint from paintscratch.com a few days ago.....looking to do the same thing and paint my lip too, oh yeah...you could try wet sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper then buffing it afterwards. i did that with my side skirts and they came out perfect.
pics dont show.
but i think iknow what youre talkin about.
orange peel.
give it a couple days indoors to dry.
wet sand with some 1500 and 2000 grit.
then get 3m rubbing compound.
it will do a good job by hand...some swirls but not that noticeable unless your car was black.
polish and wax.

You bastard you beat me to it!! I'll have mine back from the paintshop this week (I hope)
BTW just my opnion should paint the JDM moldings too.
***Edit didn't read before I posted (about the molding): BTW the texture you're talking about is orange peel. You have to wetsand w/ fine grit before you clear to even out the "ripples". I'd sand it down again, repaint, wetsand, then clear.
***Edit 2: Make sure to do numerous thin coats not 1 thick coating.

Just took them back off, here are closer pic's, sorry for the quality, I'm being lazy right now, don't feel like putting any effort into taking better pic's.
