Well i am putting a built b18c1 in my car and boosting. but if you are on a budget then i would suggest a b18b! That is the only other motor that really appeals to me!

Stick with the D series. For the cost of a swap you can have a D series with forged interanls, head work, and a nice cam.

better engines cost more money...so the more you spend the better the swap will be for your DX

Unless you want to dump and dump and dump money into your D series or upgrade to a D16...IMO, not worth it. Get a nice platform to start on, a B series. And build from there...</TD></TR></TABLE>

gee let me see here.. he can get a used B series.. or for the same price he can rebuild the D series and have forged internals. hummmm....

No wait.. do the B series swap like everybody else.. that way the D serie parts stay cheaper.

If you want trq on stock bore and stock motor and the ability to make power, then i say get the b18b! like i said before. Dont buy the b16, some love it some hate it, me personall i would rather build a d series than have a b16. the possibilities are endless
