It looks like you need to move the hood farther back toward the windshield. Is it the new VIS hood or is it a used one?

This is brand new vis hood, i just pulled it out of the box

If i do that i will have to grind out the hood mounting brackets. It seems to be warped on the passenger side, but the driver side seems fine.

the VIS hoods i've seen for JDM ITR front end does not look like that. they have all fit flawlessly...call them and let them know what's wrong w/ your hood. email them pics to show them whats wrong and go from there...

WTF, who the hell would buy a hood expecting it not to fit when bolted up? The only way it should be adjusted is by the amount of movement in the 4 bolts the hood is supported by.

cant really see from the pics... is it flexing up? or is the gap to fender off?

there is a 1/4" arch in the middle of the hood, whereas it should be flush.

Basically, the middle of the hood from the passenger side sits a 1/4" higher in the middle when you look at it from the side, thus exposing my engine

thats a nasty gap. I was aware of most cf hoods giving larger gap than oem spec which is one reason why I refrain from getting one myself.

My hood didn't fit perfect either. I had to play with it for a few hours to get it right. I still have a gap. It's too bad I'm in IRAQ right now, I would post some pics.

Doesnt jay smiths car have the washers stuck under to raise the hood, make it look "drift style"?

Anyways, 1/4" gap looks ridiculous on the car, its unacceptable

i hope he doesnt, and i dont know why u would make it look drift style when the car is totally incapable of doing a drift to begin with, hey man id be more pist if in part of the hood the weave would be coming apart, it happened to my boys old b& m spoiler nad he spent 550$ on that, and fat *** unweaving going on in the middle of the spoiler!
