This is brand new vis hood, i just pulled it out of the box
If i do that i will have to grind out the hood mounting brackets. It seems to be warped on the passenger side, but the driver side seems fine.

my hood has a little gap on both sides but not that bad. sorry, that suck! they should repalce it for you, especially if you show them that pic, if not, i'd raise hell.
ive sold some hoods in the past, VIS's last batch was the worst ever. that's y everytime someone wants to get cf hoods form me, i tell them its on backorder til VIS gets their ish straight and gets the new batch going. ill keep you guys posted.
the VIS hoods i've seen for JDM ITR front end does not look like that. they have all fit flawlessly...call them and let them know what's wrong w/ your hood. email them pics to show them whats wrong and go from there...

WTF, who the hell would buy a hood expecting it not to fit when bolted up? The only way it should be adjusted is by the amount of movement in the 4 bolts the hood is supported by.

there is a 1/4" arch in the middle of the hood, whereas it should be flush.
Basically, the middle of the hood from the passenger side sits a 1/4" higher in the middle when you look at it from the side, thus exposing my engine

why are u trippin? even jay smiths hood dont fit right look at the pics on his car from import tuner, u'll see even his hood dont fit right! whateva man u got jdm front most people dont have but i do and i got the lifting on each side just like smiths' but i say hey, not to many people have this front end in the first place so quit talking **** =D
Doesnt jay smiths car have the washers stuck under to raise the hood, make it look "drift style"?
Anyways, 1/4" gap looks ridiculous on the car, its unacceptable

i hope he doesnt, and i dont know why u would make it look drift style when the car is totally incapable of doing a drift to begin with, hey man id be more pist if in part of the hood the weave would be coming apart, it happened to my boys old b& m spoiler nad he spent 550$ on that, and fat *** unweaving going on in the middle of the spoiler!
