Default clicking noise coming from front suspension... more info inside

ok, i have tein SS dampers installed in my 93 lude. Ever since I put them in (~4 months ago), I've noticed a clicking sound which occurs whenever I start off from a stop, or when braking... basically any front-to-back or back-to-front weight **** in the car. At first it started with only 1 click per weight shift. Now it's progressed to several per shift. Also, I've replaced both front axles about 6 months ago, so I'm fairly sure it's not those (they were reman. axles though, so I guess I can't rule them out)

I was kinda thinking it was the lower ball joint maybe? I used the ball joint separator tool (not the puller type) to break the lower BJ free. I'm sure some greased got pushed out, but of course, the rubber boot around the BJ was already torn to hell anyway being over 10 years old and all.

Anyway, just lookin for ideas cause it's a bitch to troubleshoot being that it only happens while driving... unless someone wants to volunteer being strapped to my hood and listening while I drive ....

Oh, I'm also only lowered about an inch all around, so it's probably not rubbing on anything. I have them set daily to the 11 dampening position as well.
