Default Brake Upgrade Kit

I'm looking for a front brake upgrade kit for my 1994 accord. I was looking at either the HP Big Brake upgrade kit, or maybe a Willwood Custom kit.

Does anyone have any other ideas on what I should get?

Keep in mind I dont want the AEM kit.

i upgraded my brake system too...currently have crossed drilled powerstop rotors with ebc brake pads for front and rear brakes, it's an improvement i've notice but i will be changing my front calipers to legend 94 gs calipers because they have 2 pistons and accord have 1 piston calipers.... so that should definitely help...the rotors and pads cost me like $600 with labor and the piston job should be around $300-400...btw i have 95 accord v6 ex model sedan....what is an hp big brake upgrade kit and willwood custom kit? how much does it cost? i know aem kit cost at least $2 grand

big brake kits allow you to have increased stopping power due to a larter brake set up. most kits provide you with a larger rotor, or in some cases monster sized rotors + larger calipers and other proportionally large components. wilwood and HP are just some of the "big name" companies that offer these products. kits very from price to price depending on who you go with. complete kits could go upwards of $2, xxx - $3, xxx for a good, solid kit from a trusted/ properly R&D'd name.

Are the brakes on the V6 model any different than the ones on the 4cyl models? And out of curiosity, are they 5 lug or are they still 4 lug?

the brakes on the v6 are larger in size, 11.2" vs 9.8"....and the 95-97 accord v6 rotors are 4 lug and will mount to the oem hub....these rotors are part of the cheap brake upgrade found here:

please enjoy, and have a nice day

don't get any kit. do a rotor-over-hub conversion and upgrade to 11.2" rotors and prelude or legend calipers with some nice brake pads. hell of a lot cheaper and all you'll ever need. also, all oem parts so if something goes its much cheaper to replace.

See this is what I am talking about.... there are way too many options for me. I would like to put the money into nice brakes and get better calipers, however I would like to keep it on a budget.

Any 5th gen accord owners will agree with me when I say the accord brakes arent that impressive. So I deffinately want to go bigger. I have power slot rotors and Hawk pads up front, and they still dont do the job. There is a rear disc conversion in my garage, that goes on soon... but if I'm going to do an upgrade I want to do it right......

on the other hand, what if you are not satisfied with the "OEM" beefier upgrade, that could of been money towards an obviously bigger and better system. its entirely up to you like you said but might as well decide on one way then regretting and eating up the costs.
