Default Question about the Proportion Valve?

A rear brake conversion on a 99 civic Ex, drums to discs. Bleed the lines, stainless steel lines put in. But it still feels like the front brakes is still stopping the car. I think its the power distribution. Ok, does this mean I have to change the proportion valve? If so, do I get a 99 civic Si proportion valve? Overall, the master cylinder is fine and so is the booster.

Another question, I have 6 lines going into the proportion valve. People are telling me "it is ABS." And that I would have to alter the two of the lines so that it would fit into the 4 port proportion valve.

Thank you very much for your thoughts

yes, a 99-00 si prop valve is what you want...the non abs one (which I think is standard).

you probably do not have abs (99% likely not to) unless you have a sedan ex.

My ex has 6 lines and my si prop has 6 holes that match exactly

no matter what kind of brakes you have, the front brakes will always do the majority of the braking. if you have problem with the rears locking up, then u should change the prop valve

its just a valve where all the lines branch from...slightly smaller than the size of a flat baseball
Just open your hood and look on the firewall toward the center and you'll see a silver (not shiney) thing w/ 6 hard lines running into it from different angles.
Cost is anywhere from 30used to 80new
