mounting Sparco seat in 90 civic hatch
Hi
I tried to mount my Sparco Evo with Sparco side mount brackets to my car last nite but found out that the floor is not even.
i checked a few places and they do have an adapter that might work.
Just checking if anyone here has installed a side mount race seat in their civic hatch or can point me in the right direction.
Also, anyone know any good links i can go to 'learn' more about my car.
I'm gonna autox this car next weekend and maybe a DE end of the month.
Thanks
Franklin

are you trying to use sliders? or stock sliders? I just installed an evo2 into my 89 hatch recently. I searched and never could find an acurate or good way to do it so we just fabricated our own way. If you are using stock sliders I might be able to give you some suggestions.

unfortunately you really can't make either of those ideas work in a 89 hatch. I'm not sure how much different the 90 is but the rails/bolt placement makes it much more difficult.

Well honestly, i really dont plan on using a slider.
Situation is i'm borrowing the seat from my other car that's being worked on.
So i'll have the seat for about 3 months to play with.
I'm gonna attend a few autox and driver school...so i hope to use the Sparco seat.
So i dont plan on hacking the stock sliders just in case i have to reinstall the stock seats back.
Looks like i'll have to fabricate something custom, or just use the stock seats and slide in them.
thanks
