Default bearing question

ok this is on a local board. I was going to get acl bearings for my motor, then i heard they are on a nation wide backorder for a gsr. so i was gonna try an get OEM. now i see these
set of KING racing rod bearings. They have been making bearings for FORMULA 1 and NASCAR for over 40 years now. There new bearings are made with a new tri-metal smelting process and are silicon coated. With the new metal process and the silicon these bearings have much better properties than factory OEM bearings. With the silicon the bearings will wear and fill low spots and form a more concentric circle. These bearings are good to 1400 degrees rather than O.E.M. 400 degrees. This would make a good upgrade while you have your motor apart

Got that off one of the sites selling these online

Well they are Standard Size, Brand NEw
Umm $40?

anyone know anything about these type bearings? i have heard of them before. should i buy them or wait for ACL or OEM. just curious thanks you.

so you're just needing the rod bearings, not the mains?

I've seen King bearings. The ones I have were in a TopLine box and were made in Israel.

I was not impressed at all. I wish I could find them and show you guys pics.

Ask DonF. He only says they are okay.

You don't have to wait for ACL's. They are available again. Just ask around

Actually I would not put them in a GSR, in that case OEM are still the best.
