What is Honda's Multi-Purpose-Grease
In my Helms manual, there are lots of things that are supposed to be lubed with Multi-Purpose-Grease...
Does anyone know what this stuff is, and if there is a street-equivalent, or better alternative? Mainly, I want to hit the points in my shift linkage with something, but I dont want to screw it up.

Try this link, or call the dude at Ahmotors.com, they have Silicon Spray that says Multi-purpose lubricant which should be safe for your linkage. I know you're not supposed to put petroleum based lubricants on rubber bushings. I bet the Silicon will be okay, or get a grease gun with silicon/molybdenum grease.

well, I have some Lithium Grease spray that I've used with better success on hinges than the Gunk Silicone. I'm having trouble finding a true 100% Silicone adhesive.
