Just a word of advice... you usually get what you pay for...

OBX isn't your best option... keep saving your money until you can afford a GReddy Evo, Apexi N1, etc.. something in that price range... I wouldn't waste your money on cheap crap that you could buy off JC Whittney.

I would recommend saving another 150-200 and buy a better exhaust. I almost bought an OBX for my sol, and then my good friend slapped some sense into me! I bought a Tanabe hyper medallion, and its one of my favorite parts on my car. The fitment, lightweight construction, sound, and the fact that its street legal makes it oh so nice! Do yourself a favor, save, save away!

**** for around that price you can do a nice custom mandrel bent exhaust setup with a nice oval muffler or something.

I have a cheap obx exhaust. With custom mandrel bent piping. I'm happy with it, but will be glad to get rid of it once i swap my gsr in there. But they ARE better than a lot of the universal's you can get out there. And by the way, I was unaware that obx made cat-back's. You sure you don't mean axle-back? Either way i would suggest saving.

Just save your money and get the swap first.

I made the mistake of buying a new hood($350), headlights($125), CAI($185), DC 4-1 header($200), R*SR exhaust($350), and buying a new hood latch($200).

350+125+185+200+350+200=$1410 pretty close to a swap.

One mod always follows another so just save your money for the swap.

Where do you live that you can do a full custom Cat-Back for under 300? I wanna move there. Meineke quoted me almost 300 for the 2.25 cat-back and that's not including the muffler and resonator and this is crush bent.

And if i was you i would go with a twin loop setup if you're still wanting to get a mandrel bent custom made. But that's me.

You suck Just Kiddin, I wonder why my meineke in CT doesn't use mandrel bend. I guess the equipment differs from area to area. Sucks that mine happens to lack the bend equipment and that they're asking that much for a cat-back. Or maybe it just sucks being really really broke.

you noticed a big diffrence with a axle back bolt on exhaust.

you do get what you pay for. If you have any intrest in a $260 obx exhaust, thats fine for your needs. Don't come here and give advice to too many people thow, cuase your ignorance in this sport is already clear.

Good luck.

are you sure its mandrel bent? I got my setup done at meineke and the exhaust is press bent(kind of like mandrel bent). Oh also i got ripped...they did a shitty *** job and lined my muffler up all wrong and installed a rice boy tip on my es oval without even telling me! I eventually ended up having to go to another shop to get it fixed.

crush bend, custom cat-back with tip/muffler of your choice (or if you bring one in) is $200 here. would rather get a madrel bend exhaust system made for my car though.
