Maintenance required indicator is RED, 91 Accord
I purchased my car about 5 months ago, when I bought it the maintenance required indicator was green (not a light, seems like a little wheel??) I was fine with that, then about a month ago it turned yellow, okay now I'm a bit more nervous. My car does have 175,000 miles??? And now this morning it turned RED, now I'm freak'n, car seems to run just the same..........just want to know I am not going to blow
any input would be greatful. Thanks, Christine

LOL.......this comes up once a month.......just put ur key into that slot in teh gauge cluster, and it should reset it......in case u were too lazy to click on the links: its some sort of wheel thing that goes green-yellow-red.........it should go red every 15k (i think) and its supposed to idicate that its time for regularly scheduled maintence

LOL!
BTW I wouldn't really freak out with cars just read the manual and if it doesn't tell you anything then ask here and if H-T tells you you need to look for a new engine/ car or whatnot then you can freak.

In my 93 the little "wheel" changed about every 5000 miles. I am pretty sure that it is reminding you to get an oil change. I changed my oil every 3000 miles. So I just put my key in every time I got an oil change.
