Pics of JDM header and more....EYECANDY
Asspenny (craig) and I were doing some work on his new toys yesterday...take a look and let us know what you think...
Asspenny's stealthy JDM Header, powdercoated black
here it is after we cut out the anti-reversion chamber, you can see it on the ground next to it.
Pic of the front of the header, take notice to my hot spoon wheels behind it
Side view, with our Bud Light joining in for a pic
topview of the header

and now for the ultimate in stealth, his one of a kind (until I get mine from Mike's groupbuy) the only existing flat black spoon calipers...they're not done yet, still have to apply a couple of coats and then polish the Spoon/Nissin logos...

The logos on the calipers should come off pretty easy. Just use some polishing wheel on a dremal or even use some light sand paper and that will take the paint right off. Thanks for posting the picture Jason.
yeah, the calipers just got their first coats of paint...after a couple more, we're going to polish the spoon and nissin logos, so it will look professional (somewhat). He's got a stealthy black, wingless R, so this adds to it...
Hey Mike, I should be doing this to mine when I get mine in a couple of weeks
rather have the flat black behind the flat black wheels....

What did you guy's use to cut out the reversion chamber on the header? Wonder what that would give you as far as power upgrade?

It's a special hi temp powder coat. My uncle owns a powder shop and he did it for me. He told me, even though they cooked it on, its still a little soft and the heat from the exhaust will finish cooking/hardening it. The only thing I dont like is it is a little thin. I was hoping from something thick to keep the heat in, but atleast it wont rust.
When I get my Jdm Dc header I was thinking of using that High temp 1200 engine paint. Do you think that it will melt off? Or it will suffice compared to powdercoating?
