valve clearance question please help
I have a 95 b18c1 motor with new stock polished crank, eagle H beam rods with 11:1 compression srp pistons, race enginering block guard stock deck height. The head consists ferrea 0.5 oversized valves intake and exuast head has never been
milled or shaved running stock headgasket stock springs and retainers and cams.
My question is that I want to run skunk stage 2 cams and springs and retainers but skunk 2 told me that I may have valve to piston clearance problems
does any one know if I will have a problem with the 0.5 oversized valves with that combo? I just don't want to buy the cams and not be able to use them and have to sell them and lose money THANKS A BUNCH WITH ANY HELP>>>>>>>

you probably be fine with stock cams, but once you start playing with the cam timming ur gonna have to be carefull, especially with stage 2s u might get vavle to valve clearance issues. u should definately test it before putting it all together.
Check your valve to valve clerance with the most aggressive cam timing you expect to run. Skunk Stage 2 run very tight lobe centers and the valves will be close and with 0.5mm over vavles you just lost about 0.020" cleance. 0.030 valve to valve is a minimum.
