91 CRX: Do stock suspension springs get old?
Ive been riding around on blown shocks with the EIbach pro kit for some time now, and have been thinking about going back to stock spring and shock set up. I don't want to have to buy a camber correction kit, or performance shocks just regular ones to go with the stock springs. But my CRX is almost 13 years old and I am questioning how well the ride would be with new shocks on old springs. Should I invest in new springs before I get new shocks? Or do springs even get old? TIA
Even though the old springs are old and rusted they still wont break. The problem is that over time they get old and start sagging which makes your car sit a bit lower than stock.

Wont break? You obviously don't work on many Hondas. We keep a LARGE quantity of springs in stock to replace broken factory springs. It is VERY common to replace them.
And to add another point, springs DO NOT get softer, they will only sag as they age.
