When are you Chicago goons putting Azenis on the R?
I think that depends on whether you have access to another car vs having to drive the R every day, and how big a deal it is to swap back if you had to in a pinch.
I have access to another car, and I also have a garage, so I can swap at any time in under half an hour. I switched back to my RE010 summer tires last week, when I thought I was going to a track event in Virginia that turned out to get cancelled due to snow. But I would probably be switching some time in the next couple of weeks anyway.
If I didn't have a garage and jack to make it easy, so I had to avoid switching the tires more than once - and didn't have another car, so I HAD to depend on the R no matter what - then I would wait until the end of the month.
(Chicago averages 6.6 inches of snow in the month of March, and 1.6 inches in April.)
I also wouldn't use Azenis around here for everyday street use. We get too much rain for that. Nice tires, perfect if you live in Texas or Southern California.
Hey io, I thought you were selling your R a few months ago...?

Yeah If I were you I'd wait for at least another month. Mid April is when it starts to warm up and you won't have to worry too much about snow anymore. But you never know, Chicago weather is goofy........And yeah if anyone in the Chicago area knows anyone selling a R let me know, I've been looking for a CW ITR for a month now and have only found a few PY ones.

Oh right, now I remember why I never read or post on Honda-Tech anymore.
What's the URL for the forum that everyone is migrating to without all the lame-*** trolls?

I'm holding out for putting on spring/summer/fall tires.
Like Ken said, we always get snow in March. It's just a matter of when, not if, which sucks.
I can't stand my seriously mushy Artic Aplins on these nice days much longer. They rox in the snow and rain, but The only thing that sways on my car is the tires now.

Excellent - good luck with it!
Not only is it better for your health and so forth, but you'll have lots more money for ITR mods and driving events!

Yea, and Gas!! It already is $2.06-2.08 a gallon up near Lake-Cook Road (on the Cook side)... and its only the first week o march!!

Yeah, I thought you were selling your car?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Really? Is it that much of a difference? I rode in an integra with 8lb rims and azenis compared to the stock rims and kumho's.
The weight difference made more of a difference in the streets than the sidewall stiffness. Azenis

Stiff sidewalls equaled a rougher ride. I live in the city, potholes galore and rough brick alleys. In all honesty, it's not fun when you combine that w/stiff suspension.
