can anyone tell diff btwn 15,16,17 inch rims?
if i had a pair of rims ranging from 15,16,17....can someone be able to tell whether the are those sizes without looking at the tire #s? i want to roll on 17s, but dun wanna rub when i drop it eventually. was thinking going 15 or 16.
I would advise against lowering your car. It looks like crap and serves no purpose at all.
I recommend that you to raise your car and slap on a lightweight set of chrome dubs.

I raised my car 4 inches so I wouldn't mess up my Ground Control body kit. And triple chrome plating my spoon sw388's really helped because my rims didn't absorb UV rays from the sun. This helps my brakes dissipate heat, and in turn my brake fluid stays cooler giving my an easy 10 extra hp.

BTW, I am riding on 40 size tires, 17 inch rims, and a 2.25 inch drop, I never rub at all!

On a serious note...I'd stick with 16s for performance and ride quality, but I can't argue that 17s look good. You can fit them, just go search for the right set up as far as offset and tire size go. There's a good pic of a yellow integra w/ a black CF hood with 15" spoons that looks damn good, so you don't have to get 17s to look good.
as long as you keep the tire's profile decreasing in the same incraments as the rim's diameter increases, then there will be no problem with the tire rubbing. for example, if you went from a 175/70R13 to a 185/60R14, then the tire is exactly the same size. there is nothing to worry about with the rubbing. the only thing you have to make sure of is the offset. that is when you get into rubbing.
