if the speedometer on the stock R (no mods or wheel uprgrades) is correctly calibrated,then I've hit 150mph, 7 mph more that what the magazines claim to be its top speed. I did get caught by a copper, but not for speeding, instead for not stopping at a stop sign- got away with just a warning though (luckily)
Speedos are off by about 2-3MPH at 60 MPH.. They are set higher on purpose.. So multiply both sides by 2 and you get 4-6mph difference at 120
If you were doing 180, it would be a 6-9 MPH difference....
