HONDATA
ok im goin to go with the hondata ecu flash. just a couple of questions.
1. how do the people that have it like it?
2.could damage be done by high reving all the time and stuff like that?
3.can the dealer find out about it?(warrenty concerns)
4. i just have injen cai. will this do that much or should i go with exhaust first?

For most of your questions see the link below. Though you did not tell us what car you have. I took a guess from your username - RSX-S??

Any increase in RPM limit though is at your own risk. If you suffer engine damage that is related to excessive revs Honda/Acura will not cover your warranty. If this of a concern, upgrade your valve train or use a program with a stock rev limit.
HONDATA SAYS THIS BECAUSE "JUST IN CASE"? OR COULD HTIS LIKELY HAPPEN?
IM REALLY CONCERNED CAUSE I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCED WITH MY PREVIOUS CAR I DONT WANNA SCREW THIS ONE UP.

if you plan to stay with stock internals and normally aspirated, hondata is one of the best mods. it improves horsepower and torque appreciably over the entire powerband. don't expect it to feel like a turbo, though.
although the higher rev limit is provided, if you drive "within reason", you'll be fine.
the dealers are able to find out if you have hondata but unless you give them a reason, they won't look for it.
optimum gains with hondata are realized with a CAI, which you already have. since the catalytic converter is the most restrictive part of the exhaust system, aftermarket catback exhausts have minimal gains unless you have a race header, or change to a high flow cat or test pipe. a race header and exhaust would provide similar gains to hondata, in the mid and high end, but would be louder, harder to install, and would cost more than $600. do exhaust after hondata.

well, you really don't want to hit the limiter before you shift anyhow, so if you shift at 8400 or 8500 rpms once in awhile, you'll be alright. btw, the rev-limiter will not stop damage caused by a miss-shift, so don't make a mistake at high rpms.

that is correct.
