Default Eibach Pro-Kit or H & R Sport?...

Lookin to get some springs and have done research in the archives but couldn't find what I was looking for. Do either of the springs give the car an uneven look? What kind of settling should I expect? Ride quality? BTW I've got a 4th gen. Info on your experiences would be great. Pictures (preferably on stock shocks) would be even better.

Thanks yo!

they're both good. but if you planning to mate them w/ stock shocks prepare for a bumpy ride.

i thought eibach's claim to fame with their pro-kits is that the ride quality did not suffer and there was no need for a camber kit. not true?

it depend on the spring rates. it depends on how the road is in your city.

Very true... once you do install them it wont be long till the stock ones blow. if it were me i would get the eibachs just because they dont slam the car but leave it at a "sporty" ride height.

ps: im currently using tokico blues, they are ok but i wouldnt get them if i could do it again

i ran sportlines on my gs-r for over a year on stockers, no porblems. so i am guessing that the pro-kits would be even better for the stockers.

eibach - 1.2 F/1.0 R

h&r sport - 1.3F/1.3 R

now to the uneven drop question. my gs-r looked like it was slightly higher in the front. i don't want that. which of the above springs will give me the most even look?

Just get some Tein Basic Coilovers($675) Then you dont have to worry about your stock shocks, or uneven look....

i thought about that, but i don't want to spend that much. it's just a daily driver.

From the research I have done, people seem to like the H&R's better. They drop a bit more than the PRO kit, and are a bit stiffer to. If your stock shocks are in good shape, they should hold up for a decent amount of time.

I'm a proponent of the H&R's, heard through the grapevine that Eibach's tend to give uneven lowering over time.

I've had both (got the Eibachs for free & bought the H&R's when I first started modding the car) & now I use neither (they're both sitting in my basement of car parts...) The Eibach dropped slightly more, but the H&R's felt sportier (higher spring rate) & didn't like to bottom out as much.....but they both sucked for auto-crossing - so I took em off.....
