engine block heater
I assume that you could just reverse these instruction: http://performance.clubrsx.com...r.pdf
Hope this helps.

It is a little heater coil that usually screws in to the block somewhere. You can plug it in when the temps are really low in the winter. It basically just keeps your block warm so your oil dosen't thicken up. It saves on alot of wear on the engine by avoiding those nasty rough starts. No performance value what-so-ever.
Does this come stock on these engines or are they an accessory that plugs into a stock location? He has a 2002 RSX S.
I apologize if i'm asking obvious questions like i said i'm not in this forum much.
Thanks,
Vince

Nope, it's an option. On the RSX it replaces the coolant drain bolt on the back of the block, just above the oil filter. You should be able to see it if it was there.
Cool thanks, i found it from the dealer they charge $50. Looks pretty nice, i've never heard of these but looks like a great thing to have. Especially if you want to keep a modded engine reliable.
