I think it's a good idea. It would make the chassis rigid and solid to take curves. Get bars for all 4 sides. Front upper and lower and Rear upper and lower.

a lower tie bar is pretty much worthless, if you know how suspension works.

you're better off with sway bars.

Yeah, tie bars are pointess.. there is already a metal piece connecting where the tie bars go. Sway bars are much more effective than any strut/tie bars.

Yes its more of a cosmetic piece rather than suspension
the rear crossmember doesn't flex too much to begin with

Is it also true that majority of the strut bars are the same? It does the same as brand name one's.

exactly....that should help you out a ton with handling. I have front and rear strut tower braces and it helped a ton, obviously sway bars will help a lot too. Really the lower tie bar is just for looks and won't do much for ya in regards to handling (compared to tower bars and sway bars )

Grab a tie bar after getting sways or struts because the difference you will feel from a tie is if at all minimal comared to sways. strut bars and tie bars are for the same prupose... to help support your suspension from flexing.

Well its not attached to the suspension component directly. It connects the LCAs and prevents them from flexing and the LCAs are connected to the suspension

the best idea would be to have one that was not jointed likt eht oem itr brace.. but other than that there really is no purpose,
the control arms flex up and down and virtually nothing in/out... so therefor tieing them together is pointless.

Sway bars gives the best bang for the buck. Don't bother w/ name brand rear tie bars. It verges on rice.
