Default Question about Si look on 96-98 civic EX coupe

Alright, some of you know I recently lossed my Civic due to wreck by my now fiancee, now I need to ask you somethin, When I got my Civic it had the 99-00 conversion done to it, but I need peoples opinion on something.

Ok If I got the 99-00 Headlights, Rear Wing, and Tailights, and Si Rims and slap the DOHC VTEC decal on there with the stock 96-98 front bumper, would my car look just like an 99-00 EX, SI? Oh yeah can't I have the 99-00 SI fog lights put in the 96-98 front bumper?

s-e-a-r-c-h

please dont put a dohc decal on a sohc ex.

the front end conversion: headlights, fenders, bumper, hood, front lip, oem fogs (optional i guess), si wheels, and tailights is what you'll need for your si look alike

I was trying not to spend that much money on the whole conversion, besides I did search my friend and I got results I wasnt looking for, but I dont wanna spend about 1k on the whole conversion, but I was thinking if I kept my 96-98 front and slapped the type R lip on there Id be good, and by the way Im gonna stick the DOHC Decal on there cause Im doing another swap anyways so Its best I put it on there now instead of later...cause later I want all my money towards the B18C1 swap again

what you need to make your car look like an si.
Parts from 99-00 civic
headlights
bumper
grille
bumper support
painted side skirts
painted side moldings if your car is a DX
front lip
DOHC sticker I guess
New paintjob, red is different shade (If your car is red)
SI emblem/sticker
tail lights from a 99-2000 SI, maybe other models, I don't know if the tails are different.
wheels

That's exterior.

Interior, you'd need the seats, gauge cluster, instrument panel and MAYBE something I'm forgetting.

Peformance, motor swap. USDM b16a2. Search on that one.

well whats my plan is this....get the Outside to look like an Si get another B18c1 swap and inside get the Type R Clusters, and either keep the car black, or paint it 93-97 Camero Z28 blue... anyone in the Atlanta area, whats the best Junk Yard to go to?

you cant just slap on 99-00 headlights as they are a different shape than 96-98.

if you want an Si, why not buy an Si?

and no its not better to slap a DOHC badge on there NOW when you have the SOHC, if anything buy it now but put it on later otherwise that would look pretty flaming.

Because I dont have 10-15k for a Si....I have like 3500 bucks and I can buy a 96-98 model EX coupe for that down here in GA, ahh but I understand wat u mean... but the insurance is too high on a Si and probably even Libility might be high as well, besides the 96-98 is cheaper on my insurance and im taking Libility out on that, cause my Explorer have Full Coverage on it so u know.
