92 civic ex conversion

Default 92 civic ex conversion

ight, just got my first civic, newb to the Honda world. i bought a 92 civic ex, its not beat up but its just needs a lil job. lets make a long story short, i always like the front end of a 96 si so i wanted to know, if i buy the fenders, bumper and headlight assembly would i be able to put in my 92 ex?

i apologize ahead if its a stupid question..... : /

You need to replace your corse support & bumper reinforcement which has to be welded and aligned. Then the rest which is 96-98 hood, bumper, grill, and fenders... U might as well do a 99-00 Si conversion

yea same here...i've seen the ej1's with 96-98 frontends and its plain ugly. but with 99-00 front ends its clean as hell...all parts you mentioned will bolt up though you'll need more info on how to make them fit...bump...

There is no 96 Si....6th Gen Si's are 99-00.

And to answer your below question...since you have a 92, the 96-98 conversion, and the 99-00 on your car will require the same EXACT modifications, just different body parts.

You're better off keeping the front end you have on your car, both asthetically and financially.

u see what i mean, i like that a lot !!!!!! do you know where i can get this info from. cause im working in a shop and want to start getting the piece ready for the summer.

You are correct...typo on my part. I didnt notice I hit 5 instead of 6...good call.

I don't personally know but uhh.

Could you post a picture of this...'96 Si? I'm kinda curious as to what in the hell it looks like.

yes sir... though i'd put that money into something else like suspension...maybe start off with new rims and tires...work your way up when you start building a car...and always remember security comes first...no joke...
