I already posted about them in the roadracing forum. But I will say a bit here.
For the street, these are GREAT. I really liked them for the street. As for the track, the setup is a bit soft. But for the street, I could not think of a better kit. The springs are progressive which I really like for the street because it give a much better ride!

Sorry, no personal experience with H&Rs here. But if it helps...
My friend bought H&R coilovers for his '02 VW Golf/GTI back in '02, and he was super satisfied. The ride was great for street. I would call it an 'agressive street' suspension. Not crazy stiff, but stiff enough to handle the street.
You might want to save some $$$, and try these http://www.ground-control.com/?D=60b...3f378a3ef3351a for the extra travel in the front. That might help your bottoming out problem. Else, buy some 84-89 Accord front struts, which are about 1" shorter then EDs.

I have the Ultralow coilovers in my ED6. I love everything about them, and plan on buying them for 2 other cars in the future. They are fairly stiff, but I think they're fine for the street(this is totally subjective of course). The Ultralows are shorter bodied/stroked, and probably have higher rates than the regular coilovers. But, overall the regular spec units are probably along the same lines.
