Hey I've got a GSR motor but lately, lets say i'm going like 25mph and I put it into 4th and I press the gas pretty hard... The rpm's will go up, but the car wont accellerate very much. then the rpms drop a little and then they go back up and the car drives normally. After that happens I can smell burnt clutch...

Is this problem caused by a bad clutch?

Don't ask why I would go into 4th only going 25mph, i just did it once and realized it... sometimes it happens in 3rd also.

 

clutch is slipping.... replace that SOB now
