See if you can get it's production number and someone can check the registry here and on ITRCA to see if it's anyone we might know.

there is place in san jose they have an 00 black itr salvage due to an accident and they want 19500 cash for it

he told me it was clean and i asked him why it did not have the actory rad support hood and bumper and feners and he told me that i ask too many questions and wanted to see my money hahahah

 

i ran into a guy that said the audi/porche dealer on stevens creek had a yellow R for 20K with 17000 miles on it and mugen intake
thats a pretty good deal actually.

i stopped by to check out the car a few days ago.

its a 2000 PY ITR.. no idea on mileage.
body is clean
has white itr wheels with Potenza S03's in back and Dunlops up front.

it also has a GSR exhaust on it.. it was probably modded before.

 

I have not gone by to look at it at all so downeys information is the latest.

That's a good deal! Oh wait, there's a "1" before the nine. Nevermind. I guess they're trying to reel in a sucker...

 

i went to check out the car today. definetly missing a lot of stuff, its missing the cover so you can see the cam gears which is pretty dangerous. It is running a stock gsr header, its missing the cruise control, its got the wrong rims (champ white itr's) and its running a stock gsr exhaust. The interior was pretty damn clean and i believe the itr number was #0863. The car has a clean title and they want 19 or best offer for it and said they are negotiable on price. The motor is all stock also if you guys wanted to know. The dealer informed me that the car was highly modified when the guy tried to trade it in for a lancer evo so they make him remove all the parts and bring it back. Other than the little things missing, the cars in excelent shape visually with no door dings whatsoever and the paint is flawless.

Do you know the difference between a stock ITR and a stock GSR header/exhaust manifold?
An ITR NEVER had cruise control (or a sunroof for that matter).
Just because the rims are CW doesn't make them "wrong", just the wrong colour if it was a 2000 or a 2001 ITR.

 

I actually went down there with JadeDM the timing belt cover is gone the bottom part of the air box is not there. I couldn't tell wut header it was but the upper part looked a lot different then the bottom part and it didn't have a heatshield. im not sure what exhaust it was running. it had the msd carb legal sticker but no msd. a skunk2 sticker on the spark plug cover and a b&m fuel pressure gauge but stock fuel pressure regulator. he was running s0-3's in the back also.

we also went to the back their was an ssbp gs-r that was traded in yesterday and the rims got stolen. the thieves broke the window and pulled the valvecover but didnt take the stock cams. or the welded obx muffler
