I have a H22A in my 97 Accord. Right now I'm using the cool air intake from my F22. If I purchase the AEM V2 intake for the Prelude, will it fit and which year prelude intake pipe should I get? I'm thinking that it will be the 4th gen Prelude... What ya'll think? Thanks.
your best bet, is to by a 3" off brand for your car, the AEM is over rated, at most you will gain .2hp from using the AEM over the OffBrand. Also, the prelude front end is slightly longer; however, you can easily make the cold air fit into an accord.

make it fit, it fits perfect into a 5th gen. you just can't bolt up the mount, but i lined the wheelwell opening with some small rubber hose which holds the pipe snug and stops it from getting cut against the metal of the wheelwell opening.
the quality of the filter is the of the reasons AEM is better than generic. if you replace a generic with a K&N it should be very similar to performance. however the cost of a generic CAI is like $100 plus a K&N filter $50 so $150. i got my AEM CAI for $179. I think the $30 is worth it especially since you get nice instructions and better overall quality and fit/finish.

but when ludes/accords are so similar under the hood, some things are interchangeable/ are a close fit.

the 94-97 acoord and the newest preludes will swap nearly every part. Inteakes are exactly the same, besides diameter. Go with the lude intake since it is bigger and try to stay away from generic items. If you dont want to spend money for aem, look on ebay and im sure you can find more reasonable aem or injen intakes.
