I was driving my car and went to shift into thrid gear and the motor shut off.... i had power lights, radio etc.. but the motor would crank but not turn over?? i replaced the plastic tip of the rotor in the dizz.. and not to mention but my battery is dying .. i have taken it to get fully charged but somethings drainging.. it i know this sounds stupid but help me please!!

 

troubleshoot. that's my advice. you said your gonna re-charge your battery again? start there, buy a new one with a good amount of warranty. alternator, distributor, etc. it's a whole lot of things from what you're telling me. since your car died while it was running.

Hmm.. If I had to guess right now, I'd say you've got a Charging problem.. That could be why your car shut off, ECM wasn't getting enough power to run the engine..
