CAR WONT START!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELP!... i was driving and went to shift into 3rd gear and the car stopped! i had power,,, lights everything.. but it wouldnt start! now m brand new battery is dead so somethings draining it... and it cranks but doesnt turn over to start.. but i can hear it try.. any one else had this problem??? i have a stock d15 motor...
bought a new rotor.. i thought maybe it was bad b/c the rotor wasnt bolted .. i was thinkin b/c it didnt have a bolt in the rotor holding the plastic rotor on the rod.. but i fixed it and nothing...so.
battery is dead but,, i had it charged by pepboys and it was reading 13 volts.. so battery is good but i cant figure out whats up???
so the car still didnt start after you had the battery chareged or it did start and then died after awhile .. you have to be more specefic and gives us all the info you can.

The car wont run if the rotor wasnt even bolted up to the shaft in the distributor. When you turn it over is it consistant turn over or like sput, and shounds like crap. The rotor should have been the problem I would check for spark now, after that ignition timing. you might have fried the ignitor or internal coil. good luck

i would check your alternator, it might not be putting out enough power and in return you would be just running off your battery till it dies. Then when you go back to start the car it wont because the battery is drained. i just had this problem 2 weeks ago

all right i dont have a new coil.. i have a new battery.. i will check the alt and the dizzy .. im sure its both and i might as well fukn replace the damn starter too..
